It's the business

from the small amount of research i did, mostly on reddit, i found that blue switches are louder than red or brown switches. that said, this thing isn't all that much louder a regular keyboard, everyone in my house is working from home right now and it doesn't distract anyone. there are youtube videos that give provide the differences in sound if you're really curious. the top of the keyboard is metal, and i did notice a faint rattle or ringing after each key stroke, doesn't bother me at all, but i saw that it was unbearable in some of the reviews i read here.i'm not a gamer, so this review is strictly for work and school. lot of essay typing and excel shortcuts. i'm normally pretty abusive to my keyboard, heavy handed especially when i finishing a spreadsheet, for dramatic effect i suppose. i can type faster on this keyboard because there is some tactile feedback. you can feel when the key registers and it's before the key is pressed all the way down. so along with the clicky sound, the feedback sort of subconsciously lets you know that you can move onto the next key and this happens before the key is all the way through it's stroke... if that makes sense. also, this thing takes abuse, but i found i'm typing with less oomph because of the clicky and tactile feedback the keyboard provides. it sort of took the luster of hitting the keys harder because it doesn't result in a louder, expression of dominance (realizing how weird this sounds, so i'll stop).media controls on the keyboard are essential, i was a little nervous that a metal volume wheel on a ~$50 keyboard would be flimsy or a fail point, but this thing is solid. it's really nice to be able to quickly turn down music before a call comes in without having to reach for your mouse. all sorts of color configurations with adjustable light and 'breathing' cadence to keep you occupied when your procrastinating on your next school or work assignment, so that's nice.tldr: louder than a regular keyboard, but that's the reason you want a mechanical keyboard. type faster and with less intensity. if you're new to the mechanical keyboard life, this thing is for you: it's a durable, quality product, and if you hate it, you're only out $50.... you won't hate it though.

Amazing keyboard

All around good quality Keyboard. If you’re wanting that loud clicky sound from the switches then this is it. Keys feel good and RGB is great.

Great Keyboard!

This keyboard is amazing for the price, and it's extremely rigid. The software allows you to customize the RGB however you like. I like the "Blues" that it comes with, but that's just my personal preference. It's a pleasure to type and game on!

loud, clicky, media controls

pros:-cheap-custom backlight profiles/patterns-media controls-sturdy-very strong tactile feedbackcons:-loud (lessened somewhat with o rings)this thing is /the/ budget blue switch keyboard. i use it at home, because i couldn't subject my coworkers to the clicks and clacks.

This Keyboards Price and Durability is amazing!!

I’ve had this keyboard for about 6 months now and it’s great. You won’t find another keyboard as inexpensive and durable as this. The backplate is metal (which feels durable and prestigious) and the key caps feel and look great. I can’t tell the difference between these blue switches and cherry Mx. As I am a fan of blues, they feel great. The volume wheel is very helpful as well. The RGB isn’t too bring but it shows up in average room light fine. You can also customize the RGB in the 1st player software. In my opinion this keyboard is feels and looks better than many Corsair, razer, or ducky keyboards. For anyone who wants a cheap but durable and well built mechanical keyboard with more than enough features, this is it!I’ve also used it extensively for gaming and had no problems.

Fantastic keyboard for the Price

Has a great typing feel. Its noisy but not overly noisey, especially for blue keys. The pluggable keyboard at the same price point is much noisier. The individually addressed LEDs are cool. The volume control is a nice touch.

Amazing value

Awesome keyboard for the money. Have been using this keyboard since February. Zero regrets.

Great Entry Level Mechanical LED Keyboard

We were interested in LED lit keyboards and did a fair amount of research prior. This keyboard hit the sweet spot between price and functionality. My husband bought one first, and despite the fact that I normally use an ergonomic layout, I still wanted my own. So I ordered a wrist rest and got one anyway. I'm glad I did!Pros in no particular order: Beautiful, well-lit keys with easily adjustable brightness. Mechanical keyboard at an entry-level price. Dedicated volume/brightness wheel and media controls easily accessible. Long, braided cord. Nice variety of built in lighting modes. Built in functions that can be changed somewhat through the keyboard itself but more so via software (one came with a CD, one didn't but the current version of the software is easy enough to find). User programmable game mode via the software to highlight the keys you use. Feels solid and well made overall. Texture on the bottom so it doesn't slip around. Satisfying to use - keys have good spring and you know for sure when you've hit a key. Comes with extra keys and a tool to remove keys as discussed elsewhere, which is a really nice touch.Cons - It's loud, with blue switches. Included a short video to show my favorite lighting mode and the sound - the phone was pretty close to the keys when recording so it may exaggerate the sound level slightly, but not much. I was able to adjust to the sound easier than I expected, but even after using it a couple three days, every email still sounds like an angry email. I'm sure this sensation will go away with time. It's obviously an individual thing whether or not this would bother you and how much, but it's important to realize what you're getting. The user manual has tiny, kind of light and all-caps print, so is difficult to read. The software is simple enough to figure out but a little clunky to use. You have to mess around with it a while to get it to do what you want.I would have preferred to be able to combine the motion effects from one of the built in modes with my own color choices, but I didn't see a way to combine the two directly. There were still enough options that I'm happy with what I've selected, but there is just room for improvement in the customization experience and software.Neither pro nor con: The font is unusual, sort of like a stencil font on some letters and numbers. I personally like the quirkiness factor but some people may not.Overall, we're both very happy. Comparable features on other keyboards cost about double what we paid (at the below $50 price range). The pros are strong enough and the cons are minor enough that when combined with the value, this keyboard was a perfect fit for us.

Great Gaming Keyboard

Yesterday I received the ordered Keyboard. I couldnt await opening the package which was obviously packed pretty good and shipped very fast.It is my first mechanical keyboard and i can say im in love. It types amazing, being my first 1stPlayer MK6 Keyboard i’ve used ever.I can game really well with it and i would say it is a nice upgrade from my old Cherry Keyboard. The Response time is super quick and fits my fingers perfectlyI am using the keyboard now for about 4 days and i am happy to say that i do not regret the purchase. They keyboard itself has a very good quality and does what the vendor says. I can switch the LED lights to every color i wish including scenes like breathing or floadingI listed some detailed pros and cons:- The Keyboard has an absolutely outstanding design.- it is a high Quality gaming Keyboard- Plug and Play- It has three modes for self realization-The RGB Colors are true colors and-The Keyboard is pretty perfect for gaming-The package included five keys to change if one gets broken including keyboard keys pliers-A detailed instruction how to remove and change keys if there is a problemAll in all i can say that since I have this keyboard i got pretty happy because i was searching for a very long time now because i couldnt find a keyboard that has a lower price than others but with the same quality.I would therefore not hesitate in recommending it to those, such as myself, who require one of the best keyboards available for writing, especially when speed and accuracy are essential. The keyboard font is a little curved and round which I am pretty happy with because it is more pleasant for my eyes, It does however help to see it in the darkFinally i can only say this was a perfect match for me

Not a stiff mechanical but outstanding rgb

The mechanical keys are not as stiff as I wanted or expected. Not worth returning. It works well, has great features and the gen function works great. If you are looking for a stiff tactile feel on tjr key press thos keyboard feels light weight amd the key press feels light and "plasticky" not mechanical and sure. Maybe for gaming this is great, for normal computing duties, there are better feeling keyboards. Still for how it is advertised, it hits the mark.
