I have already a Carcomm cradle in my car, and I love it. But I've updated my phone - can I swap over the cradle part itself, or modify it for my new phone?
Unfortunately not. Carcomm only makes complete cradle kits for specific phones, and they don't sell the holder side-pieces separately. And even though you can re-use your existing Carcomm mount, you'll still get another one in the box when you order a new cradle to suit your new phone. However, if you change phones regularly, you might wish to consider instead the Carcomm Multi-Basys system, which has a permanently-installed base plate and a cradle for it that you can change over with a straightforward click when your phone changes.
