The ScanGauge is designed to plug directly into the OBDII diagnostics connector under the dash of 1996 and new cars and light trucks. Some vehicles built prior to 1996 may also be compatible with ScanGauge products.

ScanGaugeII provides real-time gauges to show you what is going on “under the hood” with more than 15 built-in digital gauges. The gauge screen allows you to select and display 4 gauges at a time, so you can monitor the current operating conditions of your vehicle in real-time.

Automatic Trip Computers

Arming the Performance Monitor
Arm the ScanGaugeII Performance Monitor just before you’re ready to record your run. The ScanGaugeII will automatically start recording when it detects change in speed.
Performance Recording Screen
Once the ScanGauge begins recording, it will display your time and speed in real-time. You can stop the recording at any time by pressing the STOP button
Performance Data Screen
You can step through the recorded data. ScanGaugeII can store up to 10 individual runs.
Turn off That Check Engine Light!
The ScanGaugeII can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and if found, can display how many there are and the Trouble Codes themselves. Using the internet or repair manuals, these can be translated to the failed component and repairs can be made.
Clear Trouble Codes
Data captured when the Trouble Code was set can be recalled to help troubleshoot the problems (was the temperature hot or cold, speed high or low, etc.). The ScanGauge II can be used to clear the trouble codes and data which will turn off the warning lamp.
Is Your Vehicle Ready for Emissions Testing?
Some states now require that before running emissions checks, the vehicle self-tests have to be completed and cleared. The ScanGaugeII reports this “Readiness”.
Read & Clear Pending Trouble Codes
If no codes are found and your Check Engine light is still on, your vehicle may be storing pending codes. The ScanGaugeII provides a method to force clear any detected or undetected Trouble Codes with just a few button pushes.

The ScanGauge II is a universal style scanner which is designed to work with many different makes and models. Providing that your vehicle is fully OBD2 compliant and has a trapezoid-shaped female plug, this will work with your vehicle for most, if not all functions specific to this model.
