ONYX BOOX Note3 10.3" HD Mobius Flexible Carta Screen Wi-Fi 64GB

I purchased the Onyx Boox Note 3 primarily to keep up with projects at work. It is a wonderful device for note taking. I was deciding between the Nova 3 and this Note 3, ended up going with the Note 3 because for work note taking is larger (about a junior size notebook), it is easy to carry around, and it is more powerful than the Nova 3 (the Nova has 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM while the Note 3 has 64 GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM). The device has good resolution for note taking and reading pdfs. It also accepts many other formats. The pen is criticized often but if is not for technical drawing, for note taking works very well.The worst thing of this device is the plastic protector for the screen -- quite frankly, not necessary and horrible to put on the device. The response of the device for writing is fantastic and is very fast. I also have installed some Android 10 apps for daily use, and they all work very well.In addition to work, I am using it to read the news, it comes with an optimized browser (Neobrowser) that is very simple and works better when scrolling through website adapting the eink resolution directly (without changing the resolution in the device in the options menu.The only thing that the Nova 3 is better than this one is its resolution-- if you are going to use the device to read a book at night in bed, probably the Nova 3 is the best option because it is a bit smaller, and the resolution (because the screen is smaller) is better.

BOOX Note3 is my first E-reader and I wrote this review after using it for a couple of weeks. The set up process was not very complicated. I didn't have any issues about air bubbles when using the screen protector provided. Android 10 makes the operation relatively fast. I typically used KOReader App for PDF reading. The crop and reflow functionalities of this App were useful and easy to use. I didn't feel pain or strained on my eyes when I read from BOOX Note3. Writing experience was just okay but it somehow didn't work with some App. The internet browsing was unpleasant but certainly that's not the main purpose of buying this E-reader. Drag and drop was a real comfort when I need to transfer the files from my PC to BOOX Note3. Light weight and long battery life were additional benefits.
