The GorillaPod is also tilt-adjustable. Joby's phone mount features a Cold Shoe on top and 2 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the sides for attaching light, a mic or other accessories. Quality Tripod
Needed a tripod for iPhone for the many Zoom and WebEx conferences we are attending (professional and personal). This one fit our needs perfectly. It is easy to set up, very sturdy, and does not require a lot of space on the desk. It even has the ability to take pics via one touch remote. So we are pleased with our purchase! It cost more than the average camera tripod but the we feel that we paid for this quality upgrade in the addtl features.

Filmmakers, Meet Your New Best Friend
Joby has done it again. It's clear that they made this product with a lot of thoughtfulness, care and attention-to-detail. My favorite parts include the metal shoe mount which allows me to flip my phone horizontally or vertically, the bluetooth clicker which lets me film from afar, and who couldn't love the versatility of the pole that doubles as both a tripod and selfie stick.

Amazon Vendor has no Quality Control
I mis looked that this is a refurbished item! Nevertheless, it should be working as new as stated! The pole when extended, collapses even before you put your phone on and it is a disastrous when you do. I came with a dilapidated box, rip-off item container, and it does not come with a users manual! How would how how parts work or assembled? I believe that the product is good, it's a Joby after all. I an just disappointed with the vendor selling an item that is already a Returned Item. They should refurbished it, as stated, and it should be working as it should be before selling it.
