JBL GT7-6C 6.5" 16.5cm 150W 2-Way Component Split Speaker System

I bought these with the intention on buying much higher end ones that I used to run (Hertz). I intend to buy things that I know are of good quality to start so I don’t have to buy the same item again, but I decided to give these a shot. I’ve always liked JBLs quality and I thought, “what the heck why not.” Quality of speakers are good, the tweeter looks a little outdated in its style, but that’s circumstantial. The speakers did not come with an adapter bracket of any sort, so be mindful of that if you need it, you’ll have to purchase them separately. Tweeters came with a flat mount and an angle mount. NO WIRES were included in the box which is ok for me considering I had plenty. was a breeze-not much different than any other set. Sound quality was way far surpassed of myexpectations. If you are looking for factory replacements for your vehicle, you cannot go wrong with choosing JBL for your needs. JBL's mids and highs are crystal-clear and sharp--and the passive crossover is small enough to tuck away inside the already cramped area of your dashboard. I have had the Grand Touring line before and the quality is just the same. With this group, I went with smaller wattage because I am not running a separate amplifier to push the mids and sub. The set is not as heavy as that older set. Now, I wouldn't think of replacing factory speakers with anything other than JBL. If you listen to them for a period of time, you will wonder why you considered something else.

Great speakers, JBL is a reputable speaker brand and although they're not top of the line B&W or MB Quart their middle of the road pricetag still makes high end sound obtainable to everyone. The mounting hardware these come with also make for an easy install in just about any vehicle. 4/5 stars only because I feel my stock speakers procuded a deeper bass, the overall sound is impressive.
