Boss Audio BCP62 Apple CarPlay Double Din 6.2" Touchscreen Bluetooth

Overall the radio is great it was easy to install plus the sound quality is great and other than that I just don’t like the word boss for this radio

Good features, nice display

Great sound and features ( hands free, screen contrast, etc). Screen is adjustable up/down and tilts left /right. Back up camera was surprisingly clear and guide lines help with teenage driver. Worked great with both Android and Apple. *note* USB cable is super short. You will need USB extension/ mount.

I wanted a large display similar to new cars. This is a floating display which works well and fits in any single din radio space. Resolution is okay but I’m sure the next generations will be better. For the price, it’s great! It did require an additional interface to allow use of the stock steering wheel controls.

Really nice quality screen! I have no problem with this screen in the heat of the 100s, I installed it in a 2015 elantra, literally you only need the adapter and the harness both sold by Metra, the sound quality upgrade it’s just amazing, the quality of the camera it’s like 480p, but it’s really nice! The connectivity it’s flawless, it automatically lowers the volume when you go in revers and it automatically put it back on where it was after you go on Drive, highly recommended!!!

I’ve installed two of these. They are fairly simple. And work well. I wish there was a volume knob inside of buttons but over all for the price it’s a good system

I previously had a generic Chinese CarPlay head unit and it quite literally blew up my wire harness after working fine for a week. Because of this, I will never buy one of the knock off ones again, especially considering how cheap and good this unit is. It sounds great, it’s simple, and it does what it’s supposed to do - function properly with Apple CarPlay. That’s all I want my head unit to do.One gripe that I have is that the external microphone might not work. I have yet to call Boss to troubleshoot this, but it does not seem to be working.

Works very well in my Ford Transit Connect Cargo van. The backup camera is better than I expected!

Great radio. Just wish the CarPlay would work without plugging in my phone.
