ATOTO S8 Gen2 Premium 10.1" Android Auto & Wireless CarPlay

It came packaged very well and easy install. excellent customer support. I would definitely recommend ATOTO brand to anyone looking for a large android based/wireless carplay head unit.

I installed this in a 2012 Traverse and did the install myself. I used the PAC RP5-GM31 Package.With this kit I was able to keep steering wheel controls and factory amp.This is my first venture into touch screen receivers. I admit I was first looking at a Kenwood or Pioneer but they were out of stock all everywhere. I read some reviews and watched some videos and started hearing a lot of positive feedback on Atoto products. I decided to take the plunge and couldn't be happier. The touch screen is very responsive. The EQ is easy to use and connecting your phone is a breeze. I use an Android phone and use the android auto feature. For Android phones you can only connect via the usb cable, for Apple you can does this wirelessly. You can also connect via Bluetooth which I do most of the time unless I'm using the map.The dash kit didn't quite fit right but I was able to dremmel out a few tabs on the kit and the fit looks factory now. I read some reivews on the kit and people had similar issues with other stereos so I assume it's the kit.

Fantastic product. Speedy response, sharp looking 10" touchscreen. Installed into a 07 pilot without issue. Cant say anything bad. Excellent customer service by Fannie. Do not hesitate to contact if there are questions. They stand behind their products!

It's so nice to add TPMS to my older car. I have the screen set to display TPMS at startup. Also, backup camera quality/ resolution is just like in new cars. BT, wifi connects easy. Love this unit. Its a huge tech upgrade on a 20 year old car. Getting steering wheel controls next.

This Stereo is more versatile than USA based radios. In my opinion the USA based stereos need to transition to full android platform

The radio does a fantastic job of playing the music with perfect clarity compared to the stock radio. There are a fair number of gadgets to add to the radio like tire pressure monitoring, rear view camera, and remote control that attaches to the steering wheel. Customer support is excellent. Emails are replied to by the next business day.

I buy a lot of tech "gadgets", but every once in a while I buy something that totally blows me away.I am not going to repeat the other positive reviews here, but just outline what stood out for me.Installation: I just installed this in a Subaru Impreza. I am mechanically inclined (I think :)), but I do not do this on a daily basis. With the right wiring harness and the face bracket, this was a fairly easy undertaking.Sound: Very clean and powerful. The default sound level of the unit is 20 out of 40, and when I turned it on, it just tore into my Alpine speakers like the stock unit never could (using the built-in amp). While loud, the signal is also very clear and free of interference. The default level can be adjusted, I set it to 2, and am generally happy with 3 or 4, so lots of headroom. I actually had considered buying a separate amp, but that does not seem necessary with this unit.Steering Wheel Controls: I tied the two signals that were coming from the stock head-unit wiring harness (part of the harness adapter) into the corresponding leads on the Atoto harness and was hoping for the best... Lo and behold, this was exactly the right thing to do since I was then able to program all the buttons from the steering wheel into the unit. No need for any additional adapters!Build quality and responsiveness are excellent. I opted for the somewhat $$$ 7" Ultra version, but I am happy I did. The 4GB/64GB unit is very fast (no noticeable delay) and responsive and allows to run multiple apps at the same time. The unit is only about 2 inches deep at the bottom, and about 1" in the top 2/3rds, so it leaves a lot of space in the back to tuck in all the different cables and harnesses.It will take me a few days to figure out the full functionality of this unit, but with WiFi, LTE, GPS, multiple USB, and two Bluetooth interfaces the possibilities are seemingly endless. So far I am blown away.
